Sponsorship Information

& El Primero

American amateur athletes rely on funding from individuals and corporations in order to compete and train with the goal of representing the United States in international competition. Coaching, equipment, travel, and entry fees are just a few of the many expenses that riders incur. There is no government funding available and financial support from the United States Equestrian Team and the United States Eventing Association is minimal.

The American Horse Trials Foundation (AHTF) is a non-profit, charitable organization established to support upper level amateur equestrian athletes. Your donation is 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501 (c)(3). The American Horse Trials Foundation was established in 1987 to assist 3-Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax deductible financial support for National and International competition.

Note from Sara:

Your support, however small, will allow Tony and I to prepare ourselves to continue the challenge of International competition and the goals of competing. To be able to travel and compete at the highest level in eventing requires a great horse, a solid work ethic, a wonderful support team of family, friends, veterinarians, farriers and people like you.

A few ways to be a part of My Team!

  • Horse Ownership. You could become a member of a syndicate, own a share in one of my horses and enjoy the excitement of owning an International competitor.

  • Sponsorship. You or your company could supply equipment, or services, such as tack, truck repairs, and other equine related needs.

  • Donation of cash. You or your company could donate cash to help with entry fees to U.S. and International competitions, truck fuel, air travel, horse feed, horse board, etc. while away from our home base. Donations made through the American Horse Trials Foundation, Inc. are 100% tax deductible according to IRS Code Section 501(c)(3). Download a contribution form or see their website for more information.

  • Organize a fundraising event like a raffle or silent auction.

NO CONTRIBUTION IS TOO SMALL and all are appreciated!
